An Email to Ken - Love the Earth

Dear Ken,

I see you throwing away a lot of things every day.  It is not food to create so much rubbish.  We must love the Earth.  I have a few suggestions for you.

First, you must not waste food and you should finish your food every meal.

Also, it is a good way to bring your own knives, spoons and forks and stop using disposable products.

Besides, I suggest you reuse plastic bags and bring your own bags when shopping.  This helps to consume fewer rubbish bags.

At last, I advise you not to buy unnecessary things but buy only things that you really need.  This will create less rubbish.

I hope my advice is helpful!

Yours,

Rosa

TSA Writing Practice

Last week, father bought a new TV game player WILL for my sister and me.  We were surprised and excited.  We couldn’t wait to play it.

Immediately, sister and I pretended to play tennis.  We hit the air hard with the virtual rackets.

Suddenly, we heard a loud sound, “Bang!” Sister hit the TV with the remote controller.  Unluckily, the TV screen was broken.

That night, when father came back home, he knew what had happened.  He scolded us angrily.  At the end, we learnt that we should play games carefully.

TSA Writing Practice

In my dream, I was a chef in a cooking competition.  It was the last round of the 21st Hong Kong Cooking Competition.  There were three competitors including me.  I was standing between Chef Tung and Chef Kwok, who looked more professional.  I was a bit nervous.  We were busy in our cooking.

While we were preparing the food, suddenly, Chef Tung was hurt by the hot soup.  Both Chef Kwok and I were shocked.  Immediately, the competition was cancelled. Luckily, his wound was not serious and we were relieved.

Yesterday, my parents and I went to a theme park.  It was very crowded and the queue was long.  The weather was hot, but we were happy.  After half an hour, we entered the park.  Happily, I was Little Piggy, which was my favourite cartoon character.  I rushed to take a photo with it.

Suddenly, Little Piggy fell down on me.  I was scared and tried my best to run away.

Unluckily, Little Piggy fell down onto the ground.  Its head dropped off.  In the end, I knew that Little Piggy was actually a man.

Yesterday, Mum ordered me to buy some sugar.  At once, I went to a nearby supermarket to do the shopping.  While I was looking for the sugar, suddenly, I saw someone who acted nervously.  He was carrying a big bag and was looking around.

I hid myself behind the shelf.  I saw the man putting a pack of biscuits inside the bag quickly.  I thought, “He must be a thief!”

Immediately, I reported the whole thing to the manager of the supermarket.  At last, they caught the thief.  They said that I was a brave boy.

Karen’s Lesson

Yesterday, Mum gave some pocket money to Karen because she did well at school.  When she got the money, she was glad and excited.  At once, she wanted to buy some yummy food with the money.

In the street, she saw a hawker who was selling curry fish balls.  Happily, she ran to the street stall and bought a stick of fish balls.  She ate it hungrily and then she bought another stick.  At the end, she ate five sticks of fish balls.

After that, she went back home.  After 15 minutes, suddenly, she felt a serious pain in her stomach.  The pain was growing bigger and bigger.  Painfully, she rushed to the toilet.  After 20 minutes, she came out and the pain went away.

After the lesson, Karen learned that she shouldn’t buy any food from the illegal hawkers.

My Dream

In my dream, I was in Cyber City.  I said in surprise, “I can’t believe my eyes!  Where am I?”  Then somebody told me that it was Cyber City.  I knew that it was a dream, but I was still happy.

In the dream, I saw a cute, modern, colourful, Chinese, metal robot.  I was laughing when I saw an alien which looked like an octopus.

After that, I found a company which rented cars.  Without a second thought, I paid money to rent a car.  Suddenly, I saw a robot lying on the ground.  He said, “Boy, my leg is in pain.  Can you send me to the hospital?”  I answered, “Sure.”

At last, he said, “Thanks, boy.” I felt excited because I have helped someone, I mean a robot.
