Who was the winner?

Last Sunday, Mrs. Rabbit spent most of her money to buy a sharp, new, red sport car.  She felt delighted and excited.  Mr. Turtle saw what happened and was surprised.   Mrs. Rabbit invited him to have a car race.  He agreed.

At the beginning, Mrs. Rabbit drove very fast and was well ahead of Mr. Turtle.  She was surprised to find that the car was so fast. 

Suddenly, Mr. Turtle discovered that the police was at the back.  He was afraid and slowed down his car, but Mrs. Rabbit didn’t notice the police, so she drove even faster.  The turtle was lagging behind.

Soon, the police caught up and shouted to Mrs. Rabbit, “Stop!”  At once, she stopped.  The police charged the rabbit with speed driving and gave her a ticket. 

At last, Mr. Turtle was the winner of the race.

A Scary Balloon

Yesterday, Amy drew the face of her kind father on a balloon.  Later, Amy met her friend Joey outside.  She showed her colorful balloon to Joey.  They chatted happily.

While they were talking, she carelessly released the balloon into the air.  Both of them were sad and shocked to see the balloon flying away.  The balloon was floating up.  Then, the balloon stopped outside the window of the home of a rich woman.  She saw the balloon and thought that it was a thief.  She was scared and dropped all the eggs onto the floor.  At once, she called the police and shouted on the phone loudly.

Soon, the police arrived but he couldn’t find any thief.  He said angrily, “You are crazy.  There isn’t any thief here.  Are you making fun of me?”
